Dr. Christoph Sinz is an Austrian academic dermatologist with a sub-speciality in reflective confocal microscopy.

 

Christoph obtained his medical degree from the Medical University in Vienna, Austria. Upon completion of his dermatological fellowship in 2018 he was promoted to a full-time senior staff specialist position at the Department of Dermatology at the Medical University Hospital in Vienna, Austria, where he was responsible for the early-recognition unit for Melanoma Early Diagnosis unit and led the confocal microscopy service.

 

Christoph undertook his confocal microscopy training at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy in 2016 and 2017, with a confocal microscopy fellowship at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital 2019, focusing on early- recognition of melanoma in high-risk patients. He participated in several research projects assessing non-invasive imaging devices and (co-)authored numerous national and international publications.
