Urgent referral pathway

 

 

We commit to seeing urgent lesions of concern (potential melanomas) within 2 weeks of referral.

Severe chemotherapy drug reactions and pregnancy rashes will be seen urgently, according to severity.

To access our urgent referral service, we require the referring doctor to telephone our reception manager, Natalia Dudzic, with detailed clinical information.

All patients are welcome to attend for our comprehensive risk evaluation. Our target patients are those with:

​

▸ Lesion of concern

▸ Diagnosed melanoma requiring wide local excision

▸ Previous melanoma

▸ Multiple melanomas

▸ Family history of melanoma

▸ Multiple moles

▸ Genetic predisposition to melanoma
