RESEARCH

We are at the forefront of melanoma research internationally, and lead several research projects on diagnostic strategies for melanoma.

All patients are invited to participate in the Melanoma Institute of Australia Melanoma Research Database.

We actively participate in clinical trials of new systemic therapies for advanced melanoma.

EDUCATION

We are committed to training the next generation of experts. We routinely have international specialists and trainees observing our clinics.

We are actively involved in teaching at all levels, including medical students, general practitioners and specialist trainees. We regularly particpation in international melanoma and dermatology conferences.

We are passionate about patient education, in particular practical strategies for prevention and early detection of melanoma.

ADVOCACY

Melanoma Dermatology are committed to health promotion strategies for melanoma prevention.

We can help you work with your local community or school to enhance sun protection knowledge and behaviours.

SUPPORT

Through our affiliation with Melanoma Institute Australia, we can help support patients on many levels, including referral to our patient support group and psychology services.
